Nissan Sunny is the highest contributor in Jan sales
The leading automotive brand, Nissan Motor India has registered the sky-scraping sales of 5168 units for the month of January 2012, highest growth of 178% over 1857 units in the January last year. Company has performed well in last two month of the previous year by submitting the sales record of 3000 units.
For the Indian buyers, Nissan is working very precisely and offering them the most promising, economical and sophisticated array of vehicles. The concept of local manufacturing has boosted-up the total sales of the company upto 98% in the last month. The Nissan Sunny has been the best selling car of the company having major contribution in the January’s sales with the 3218 units.

This Nissan sedan has been awarded by the most prestigious award of ‘Best Entry Sedan of the Year’, which has arrived on the Indian roads in September 2011 and manufactured at the company’s Chennai plant. The Micra hatchback, the premium sedan Nissan Teana, Nissan X-Trail SUV and the Nissan 370Z sport car are the other supportive models.

The Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama has said that the Company’s sales performance of the first month of the year has proved the brand value of the Nissan in the Indian automotive market. Within the short duration of its establishment, company has sketched the perfect growth chart by reporting the record breaking sales of 5,000 units.
The brand reputation has been highlighted with the unveiling of the new urban utility vehicle, Nissan Evalia by Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. The world’s first 100% electric, zero emission family car, Nissan LEAF and the legendary Nissan GT-R supercar has also been showcased in the event.
