Nissan Sunny launched at Rs 5.78 lakh
Nissan Sunny Sedan has finally arrived in India. Nissan Motors' first C-segment car in India has been priced in the range of Rs. 5.78 - Rs. 7.68 Lacs. Nissan Sunny Sedan has been made available in three variants- XE, XL, XV. XE is priced at Rs. 5.78 Lacs, XL is priced at Rs. 6.88 Lacs and XV is priced at Rs. 7.68 Lacs. It is likely to compete with Toyota Etios, Maruti Swift Dzire, Maruti Suzuki SX4 and Hyundai Verna.
Nissan Sunny is based on the same V-platform that is being used for Nissan Micra and Renault's upcoming hatchback B58. Sunny Sedan is powered by a 1.5L DOHC petrol engine that generates maximum power of 98bhp and torque of 13.6kgm. It has a 5-speed manual transmission and it delivers certified mileage of 16.95kmpl. Its major features include keyless entry, automatic climate control and a Start-Stop button, and it is available in six different colours.

The main plaus point Nissan Sunny Sedan has is its spacious interior and huge trunk with capacity of 490 Litres. It is 4.4 metres long, which makes it longer than any of its competitors. It has been built with a lightweight body and its kerb weight is 998kg for XE, 1022kg for XL and 1027kg for XV.

Nissan Sunny has been present in the foreign countries for about 45 years and till date more than 16 million Sunnys have been sold world over. This is the 10th generation Sunny and it was launched in China in December 2010, where it has already become the segment leader.
The base XE variant has ABS, EBD and Driver Airbag on it, whereas the XL and XV variants come with passenger airbag too. Nissan has set the target of selling 1 Lakh cars in India, by the end of 2013. It will soon launch five more cars in the market, in order to achieve the target. It has also planned to increase its dealerships from 45 at present, to 100 by March 2013.

I was looking for sedan which delivers great fuel economy. Now i get it, that is Nissan Sunny.

Nissan Sunnyu looks sporty and aggressive. Neatly scratched lines on the outer body will attract you. The halogen headlamps are large which can capture wide area. The logo of the company right at the center with well designed grill gives ultimate beauty for the sedan. <br /> <br />
I think the exterior looks of Nissan Sunny is very good.
i like it this car interior & hatchback. is so stylish car. looking nice and good mileage and good pick up.
