Nissan Sunny performing stunningly well in other countries as well

The new 2012 Nissan Sunny also known as Almera in China, has turned out to be quite a big champion for Nissan. The car was revealed in China some time ago and since then it has astonished the firm with its booking orders. In China, Nissan is selling more than 15000 Almera sedans every month, which is truly impressive. Just two week ago, the launch of the 2012 Nissan Sunny was done in Malaysia and in such a short amount of time, the car managed to clutch 7000 bookings.

Nissan Almera is brought together in Malaysia itself via CKD kits, which are imported from its manufacturing unit in Thailand. This premium sedan comes with a 1.5 litre of HR15DE four-cylinder engine that gives out 100BHP power and 134Nm torque. The five-speed manual gearbox has been coupled with the engine. On the other hand, the automatic variant on the car is in the pipeline and is likely to be launched in next few months.

Nissan Sunny sedan is also present in the Indian car market. It has been quite successful here as well and has achieved a lot of victories while competing with its competitors. The smart pricing strategy opted by Nissan India was the best part that helped Sunny to climb the ladder of success in no time. Other high points of the car that makes it very viable in India are the extended wheel base, rear AC vents and superb styling on the exterior.

In India, Nissan Sunny is available in diesel as well as petrol variants. However, as India has a diesel driven car market these days, the diesel variant of Nissan Sunny has been doing pretty well for the Japanese automaker. The engine of the car is efficient and gives out superior fuel efficiency. By next year, the company is also planning on launching the automatic variant of Sunny in India.
