Officially the Valentine week has begun and to make it special for the car fanatics, Nissan is here with the special edition of Nissan Sunny. The car maker has disclosed Nissan Sunny XV Special Edition package and its price. This one is offered in both petrol and diesel variant. The Nissan Sunny XV Special Edition petrol cost Rs. 8.60 lakh, while the diesel variant of the same is priced at Rs. 9.68 lakh. Special Edition of Nissan Sunny XV has surely been made special in terms of comfort and some more convenience features. The main thing that will attract you in the new version of this sedan will be rear parking camera along with fresh touch-screen multimedia system supporting USB and DVD as well.
On the other hand, there are some new and alluring things on the exteriors as well. The rear spoiler is refurbished and the chrome finish on the trunk lid seems to be quite exciting. The black dashboard panel along with the sophisticated beige upholstery makes the interiors truly special. The silver trim present on the centre console and on the door handles add a bit of glamour to the car. Apart from the interiors and exteriors sprinkles, the company hasn’t touched the car on the technical front.
Initially, Nissan Sunny was launched in the Indian car market in September 2011 and since the time of its launch, the success came running to it. Therefore, Nissan India expects a same kind of response for the special edition as well. Also, the firm has plans to launch the sedan with an XTronic CVT transmission, which is already present in Renault Scala. To make its position stronger in the Indian car market, the firm is working on ‘made in India’ cars, which are expected to arrive here by 2018.
