Nissan to roll out new models
Nissan India has been working very hard and putting it all its heart and soul to makes its position in the Indian car market strong and steady. Right now, the company has few successful products in its kitty, comprising of Nissan Micra hatchback, Nissan Sunny Sedan, Nissan Evalia, Nissan X-trail and Nissan Teana. Out of these, Nissan Sunny, Nissan Micra and Nissan Evalia are doing a good business. But looking at the competition in the market today, the company has made plans to put up some more assembly lines in order to boost the per annum manufacturing capacity of its plant. Hopefully by next year, the Renault-Nissan manufacturing plant will augment its producing capacity to up to 4 lakh units annually. The reason behind amplifying the assemble lines is that Nisan is planning to introduce some new models for its Indian consumers.
The car maker has already made it official that it will be launching a Datsun small car very soon, which would give a tough fight to Hyundai Eon. Besides the Datsun Small car, Nissan India is also mulling on introducing a sub Micra car, few SUVs and a sedan in sub-four meter range. However, no green signal has been given on these, but hopefully, the announcement for the same is just round the corner. Out of these, Nissan Duster is already been in the news since past few weeks. The rendered image of rebadged Duster has been floating on the Internet. On the outside, the company has given this compact SUV a different and unique look, which doesn’t resemble the original Duster, but the basic platform tends to remain same. The firm will soon be making the official announcement regarding Nissan Duster along with making the details of the car public.
