India has certainly got new prominence among international car makers and that is why some of these have given their low cost car brands a unique identity in India. After Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen and Daimler have all decided to come up with their low cost car brands slated for India. These brands will be launching their cars and thus these will be uniquely identified cars that have been specially customized and made in India, for India. In addition to this the French car maker has already tasted success in the form of Renault Duster which is the rebadged car from the stable of its low cost car brand Dacia. Similarly, GM has just introduced two cars – Chevrolet Sail UVA and Chevrolet Sail sedan from the stable of its Chinese partner Sail and it will soon be launching the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV.
