Pictures of Mercedes-Benz E Class 2017 revealed by company
German luxurious car maker Mercedes Benz has officially disclosed the pictures of generation next E Class which made its first appearance during the Detroit Motor Show on January 11, 2016. Developed on new design philosophy adopted by car maker the luxurious sedan carries most of its looks similar to S-Class and C-Class and therefore all of them carry lots of resemblance with each other. Comparing the generation next E Class with its outgoing trim it would be interested to know that length of this version has been increased up-to 43 mm long and now its length is 4923 mm.
Under the bonnet there will two engine options comprising of E 200 four cylinder petrol engine and E220 d four cylinder diesel engine. The former engine option churns the power of 181 bhp and torque of 300 Nm, while the later engine boosts the power of 192 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. Both the engines will be mated with nine speed automatic transmission system and embellished with Eco start/stop button. The top end variant in diesel trim E350 d will powered with six cylinder engine boosting the power of 255 bhp while the E350 in petrol will be offered with hybrid feature.
On the exterior the various variants will receive separate front grille developed specifically for each of them. The basic variants will be equipped with conventional grill followed by Star symbol at the top. The AMG and Avantgrade variants will receive two plated grille along with Mercedes logo mounted on it. The grille in these variants will be offered with option of Multibeam LED headlamp system. The headlamp is further powered by powerful 84 LEDs resulting brighter light. The logic of introducing this feature in headlamp is similar to Matrix lighting system used in Audi. Moving inside the cabin you will find interiors carrying resemblance to S-Class. The dash board has been developed with dual display screen. With this integration of touch sensitive control buttons facilitate the driver to retain control on vehicle without removing their hands from steering wheel.
