Project with Renault-Nissan on track says Bajaj
India’s major automobile production company Bajaj has confirmed that its plan of development of four wheelers for Nissan and Co and partners Renault is very much on after one of the newspapers had confirmed that this deal had been given a thumbs down.
Earlier this Friday according to the Wall Street Journal Bajaj had given the deal of producing a mini car for Renault-Nissan in India a thumbs down as they believed it would be impractical and an unsuccessful idea to have this production.
But later the message from S Ravi Kumar, Bajaj Auto's senior vice-president for business development in an e-mailed statement to Reuters confirmed the fact that the project between Bajaj-Renault-Nissan is very much on.
