Refreshed versions of Toyota Etios and Etios Liva launched
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors has launched the facelift version of Etios and Etios Liva in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 5.74 lakh (ex-showroom price) and Rs. 4.76 lakh (ex-showroom price) respectively. Although mechanically both the siblings have remain unchanged but interestingly have undergone various impressive and noticeable cosmetic changes. Apart from this car maker has also enhanced the list of comfort features and safety measures offering dual front SRS airbags as standard feature on all trims.
Addressing the launch event Mr. N. Raja, Senior Vice President & Director (Sales and Marketing) Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, said company had launched the Etios twins in 2010 and since then company has been refreshing them according to changing time and has also launched the limited editions. During their successful existence of four years both the cars have proudly satisfied the different requirements of their customers. The refreshed versions of both the cars will continue same trend. According to Mr. Raja, car is the second home of the car owners as most of their time they spend while moving from one place to another and therefore company has tried to embellish the same comfort features in both these cars. The refreshed versions of these siblings will further enhance the joy of festival.
The notable cosmetic changes introduced in both the cars include new front grille, electrically adjustable ORVMs, chrome garnish on door handles on the exteriors of both the cars followed by introduction of new pear while color in Etios. Inside the cabin they receive new multi info LCD display, door ajar and headlamp warning, superior quality seat fabric, 2 new rear speakers offered only in sedan version. Apart from this standard features offered in both cars include dual front SRS airbags and reverse parking sensors.
