Renault Fluence E4 Diesel launches at Rs 15.20 lakh
Who says that Renault Fluence does not have the kick in the diesel version? Silencing all criticisms against its flagship car in India, the French car maker has launched the all new Renault Fluence E4 diesel trim today. With this, Renault has imbibed an array of features of the automatic petrol version to this new diesel version. The Renault Fluence E4 price is tagged at Rs 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will now available across Renault’s dealerships in India. The new Fluence diesel trim has added more prospects to the car. Now, Fluence diesel is cheaper than Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel.

Everybody was expecting the car maker to launch a manual transmission based Fluence but the car maker thought it right to introduce the fully loaded diesel avatar of Fluence. It is almost one year after the launch of the car that Renault has added another trim. The new 1.5 k9k DCI engine now generats 110 PS power and 240 Nm of torque It also has the 6 speed manual gearbox. The new engine now delivers fuel efficiency of 20.4 kmpl, as per ARAI.

As part of the new features, the Fluence E4 diesel has chrome finish on window sill and Trunk Lid. There are front wipers that have two speed and with intermittent wiping. Wipers in the Fluence E4 are now rain sensing. Alike the Petrol E4 trim, the diesel E4 also has plush leather upholstery and dual zone automatic climate control feature. Taking good care of the rear passengers, Renault has put rear AC vents in the E4 trim. For those who think parking is not easy now have parking sensors. To keep the long driving less tiresome, there is now cruise control and speed limiter. In addition to this the E4 Fluence trim also has rear sunblinds. The ORVMs are chrome plated and electrically adjustable with temperature sensor. Taking care of the entertainment inside the diesel E4 Fluence has CBOX USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The E4 diesel Fluence also has enhanced safety features with side - chest level airbags for the front seats.
