Renault Samsung SM3 showcased, could inspire new Fluence

The Renault Fluence car has inspired Renault-Samsung JV to develop a new sedan and the Samsung SM3 sedan has been showcased. The SM3 gives a hint at the looks new Renault Fluence could take in 2013. Notably, the Fluence is the first car by the car maker that has launched four offerings since last year. The other three Renault cars include Renault Pulse, Renault Koleos SUV and Renault Duster SUV. The Fluence sedan too is in the waiting for a new avatar in India and the SM3 could be the future shape of this car as it has been jointly developed by Renault and its Korean partner Samsung.

The Fluence sedan is the car that has made Renault appear in an independent identity in India and it is after the launch of this car and the initial overwhelming response that the car maker could think of launching other Renault cars in the country. The SM3 sedan launch is expected to make way for the new Fluence as Renault is believed to imbibe a lot of features from this sedan to the Fluence. However, experts believe that the car has only visual change to it and there are seldom any concrete changes under the hood.

As part of the changes that makes the SM3 a new car includes the revamped front facia. A new grille, new headlamps and new bumper all the more add to the unique appearance of the car. On the inside, the new Renault Samsung car has a lot of features. The instrument console is what mesmerizes the occupants and it is also rich in information and gives full information about every specs of the car. There is the electronic parking brake, Smart connect features such as USB connectivity and other features inside are also expected to be translated to the Indian Fluence.
