Renault Scala Automatic price announced, range starts from Rs. 8.99 lakh
Renault India is bust expanding its portfolio in India. Recently, the car maker brought in the 2013 Renault Scala sedan with Automatic gearbox (CVT). This one is petrol sedan and is priced for Rs. 8.99 lakh. The Renault Scala Automatic RxZ version is priced for Rs. 9.89 lakh. Besides the CVT gearbox, the engine under the hood is another highlight. The car comes fitted with the 1.5 litre four-cylinder HR15DE petrol engine, which is capable of producing high power of 99BHP and 140Nm of torque. Now, with the combination of automatic gearbox and this petrol engine, the mileage delivery hasn’t been affected much. The car manages to deliver 17.97 kmpl of fuel economy, which is utterly impressive.
However, on the other hand, if you are not petrol engine fan, you can always go for Renault Scala Diesel, which is powered by 1.5 litre K9K diesel engine that is capable of delivering 85BHP of power and 200Nm of torque. But, you will not be getting the automatic transmission option in the diesel variant, instead the standard five speed manual gearbox has been coupled with the engine here.
In case you are planning to buy the Automatic Scala sedan petrol, then RxL model will certainly be the best choice. Apart from the CVT gearbox, the car will also be installed with 15 inches of sporty alloy wheels, Anti-Lock Braking system, Electronic Brake Force Distribution System, Brake Assist, Dual airbags for the driver and front co-passenger, electronically adjustable mirrors, Air conditioning with automatic climate control, chrome finished door handles and multi-information display. On the other hand, the RxZ, which is the high variant, has additional features including automatic foldable mirrors, chrome radiator grille and high quality leather upholstery for the seats.
