Among the other four cars that are already launched include – Renault Fluence sedan, Renault Koleos SUV, Renault Pulse small car and Renault Duster compact SUV. The Scala will be the same as that of the Sunny but it will be entirely French styling and features that will pervade. As Renault and Nissan share the same platform, it is easier for them to share the same platform and develop different cars. Besides this, developing a new car for India based on a popular car such as the Sunny means the same great response for the new car as well. Also, the sedan segment expects a really new offering that is both affordable as well as a dependable just as the Maruti Swift Dzire. However, the price will be the deciding factor for the car.

The Scala has been put up for display for the media to have a preview of it before the actual launch happens next month. The car is expected to be one of the best offerings in the mid size sedan segments and as per the initial information the 1.5 L engine line will be there under the hood of the car that will have French designing and comfort in toto. In order to make it a different car from Nissan Sunny, Renault will be making the exterior as well as interiors entirely different and also will imbibe French styling in an extensive way just as it did with the Renault Pulse that is based on the Nissan Micra small car.
