Initially, in Indian car bazaar, Jaguar Land Rover Range was given a tag of being pricy, but now, it is getting all the attention it needs. The luxury car buyers are interested in the brand as compared to others. To keep up the spirits and reputation, Tata Motors is putting in a lot of effort to make this luxury brand work for the Indian consumers. If we look at the sales figures of Jaguar Land Rover cars in January 2013, the global sales for it have gone up by 32%. The car company managed to sell about 34877 units internationally in Jan 2013. A strong start for the firm this year has obviously boosted confidence for the company.
Furthermore, Jaguar Land Rover has commenced the production of its new Jaguar XF saloon in India. This model is being manufactured in its Pune plant. The components for the saloon are being brought from Castle Bromwich Plant of JLR located in Birmingham. To make itself strong in the gulf areas as well, JLR is also thinking upon establishing a manufacturing unit in Saudi Arabia as well, which would help it to amplify sales in Middle East.
