The new Hyundai Sonata features revealed in Korea
Korean car giant has showcased the new avatar of its sedan Sonata in domestic market with huge fleet of various remarkable changes which are expected to be miles ahead from its strong contender Skoda Superb. The new Hyundai Sonata has been developed on Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 platform exhibiting Hyundai’s efforts in making the sedan more attractive, thus giving it an extra luxurious looks. Although the new Sonata also carries few of its features from its ancestors for instance rear roof line has been taken from the existing version of Sonata.

The Sonata 2015 has been launched in both petrol and diesel variants with petrol variant equipped with 2.0 litre petrol engine churning the power of 165bhp and torque of 205Nm, while the diesel variant empowered with 2.4 litre diesel engine generating the power of 190 bhp and torque of 252 Nm. The sedan has been offered with six speed manual gear box in both variants followed by six speed automatic transmission system in petrol trim.
The major features adorned in new Hyundai Sonata includes 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESP, Bi-Xenon headlights, LED taillights, Lane Departure Warning System, Advanced Smart Cruise Control and many more. According to sources of company it has paid proper attention in integrating necessary safety measures in the new Sonata and has made use of high quality steel in enhancing the strength of sedan. The new sedan is expected to be launched by the end of this year in Indian car market.
