Toyota brining new Corolla Altis during Indian Auto Expo 2014
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors is speculating to unveil the new Corolla Altis during the Indian Auto Expo 2014. As it is known company has already stopped the production of Altis so as to exhaust the existing stock of Altis from market. It is also speculated that company after unveiling the generation next Altis in Indian Auto Expo company may launch it in market sometimes during the second quarter of this year.
According to authentic sources the upcoming Corolla Altis looks miles ahead from the existing Corolla Altis in market. However as far as mechanical changes are concerned company has carried the same petrol and diesel engine configurations as available in existing model of Altis, that is 1.8-litre dual VVTi petrol engine and the 1.4-litre D4-D diesel engine in its highly acclaimed luxurious sedan.
It would be interested to know that Corolla Altis at one time was one of the best selling cars by Japanese car maker before the emergence of Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Elantra. Moreover after recent launch of generation next Octavia by Skoda company was finding it difficult for find appropriate market for Altis. Now with this move company speculates re-establish its brand.
