Toyota Corolla 2014 to debut this month

Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors had unveiled the refreshed version of its luxurious sedan Corolla during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 held in February with the promise of soon to launch the saloon sedan in Indian car market. It is reported that making its words true car maker is all set to launch sedan by the end of this month in India. The sedan would be launched in both petrol and diesel disguises, followed by an automatic version in petrol version.

The new Corolla will be enriched with various remarkable features but will continue with same engine configurations in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol avatar will be enriched with same 1.8 litre petrol Dual VVT-I engine developing the power of 140 PS and torque of 173 Nm followed by engine coated with 6 speed manual transmission system. While the diesel variant will be energized with 1.4 litre diesel engine churning the power of 205 Nm and torque of 88.4 PS.

The major features offered in generation next Toyota Corolla includes auto wipers, keyless entry, LED headlamps followed by engine start/stop button, ABS+EBD, reverse parking camera, 7 inch TFT display. The interiors will be developed with high quality leather. With this the automatic variant of Corolla will also be enriched with cruise control and navigation system. As far as price of new Toyota Corolla are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by company and will disclosed at the time of launch.
