Toyota Corolla Altis Facelift Might be Launched in March 2017
Toyota Corolla Altis facelift is in rumors that the car might be launched in the Indian car market by start of the March 2017. The Corolla Altis 2017 was globally unveiled last year in the month of July and now, it is ready to arrive in India with some tweak in its looks and interiors.
2017 Toyota Corolla Altis will run on a 1.4-litre diesel engine which is delivering the power of 87 bhp and torque of 200 Nm, mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The petrol unit of the all new Corolla Altis will be powered by a 1.8-litre mill that is quite capable to generate the 138 bhp of power and 173 Nm of peak torque. This petrol variant might be quipped with a 6-speed manual or a 7-Speed CVT automatic transmission system to ease in the drive.
Toyota made mostly changes to the exteriors of this upcoming Corolla Altis facelift. Externally, it will be equipped with new LED headlamps and front fog lamps, re-designed front fascia with chrome finish and new bumper, 17-inch alloy wheels, and new LED tail lamps that making it different from its predecessor. Inside the cabin, new dashboard with automatic climate control will give a complete new look to the car. Also, it will have a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen (connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) with navigation system for better driving experience.
The Toyota Corolla Altis facelift will be launched to beat its contenders like Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Elantra and other its batch-mates. It is expected that the 2017 Corolla Altis might come with the price tag of Rs. 14.0 – 16.0 Lac ex-showroom.
