Toyota Etios and Liva called for Special Service Campaign
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors has been promoting and assuring its consumers about the service attitude of ‘Customer First’ that is followed by the company and now it seems to abide by the same. Since the company has announced a recall of its Toyota Etios range of vehicles that comprises of Etios sedan and hatchback Toyota Etios Liva due to possible abnormality with the filler hose in some of the vehicles. Though this aberration was found in some Etios cars, still the company has decided to recall every Etios vehicle that has been manufactured by the date prior to 8th October, 2011 as a precautionary measure.

The consumer can contact any Toyota dealer to get it checked and if the problem is found the component will be replaced at no cost. The company has named this recall as ‘Special Service Campaign’.

As per the company, if there is a need to replace the filler hose, it will not require more than 45 minutes. The damaged filler hose may cause fuel leakage and lead to interruption in fuel supply to the tank.
Toyota Motors is riding high, since both the vehicles saw immense success soon after their launch and the sales were two-fold when the diesel variants of Etios sedan and Liva hatchback were announced.
