Toyota Etios cars– the value-for-money vehicle finally hits South African market
Toyota Etios, a model of Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM), has hit the local market in South Africa to become popular choice there. The company has finally launched the car in the South African market with an aim to take on Volkswagen. The South African market has waited for long time for the model, which has replaced popular, affordable Toyota Tazz hatchback. Etios is an Indian-made vehicle, which would be made available in the market with minimum price of R115 800.

In the past few years, Volkswagen has established its leadership and the way it is selling its cars in the South African market is amazing. Now, with the launch of Toyota Etios, the TSAM would challenge the leadership of Volkswagen in South Africa. Industry sources claimed that TSAM has launched the Etios in the market after a motor company conducted an extensive survey in the market. Only after that the TSAM has decided to bring Etios in the South African market. Some of the major qualities of Etios are that it achieves zero to a hundred speed in just 11.3 seconds. Also, the Etios is powered by 166kW, 1.5L petrol engine. It has five-speed manual transmission. Besides, the fuel consumption of Etios sedan is 5.9L/100km while for Etios hatchback it is 61/100 km. It has 13-litre glove box with a built-in cooling function.

The Toyota Etios sedan has 595-litre boot. Media report suggests that the company has presented the car in the market as it is synonym with quality, affordable, value-for-money vehicle. The Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback have enough space for five passengers. Also, the company has made available remote central locking and electric windows but only for the hatchback XS model, which will cost at R120 900. But, the basic model has powerful air conditioning, antilock brake system with electric power steering, which are some of the features of the basic model.

I love toyota etios because this diesel misses the charm that every Toyota car naturally has. I was pretty excited when I got a chance to take the test drive of this beauty. Favorite car- toyota etios
