Toyota Etios Cross launched in Brazilian car market
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors has launched Etios Cross in car market of Brazil with price tag of 45, 960 Brazillian Real (INR. 12.5 lakh) and will be released for sale from November 18, 2013. The new Etios Cross is considered as upgraded version of its sibling Etios Liva by carrying enhanced features like body cladding and taller wheels thus giving it more sportier look.
Toyota has energized Etios Cross with 1.5 litre engine generating the power of 96 bhp and torque of 139 Nm, forwarding the power to front wheels through five speed manual transmission system. The major features introduced in Etios Cross include lifted suspension and plastic moulds mounted on wheel edges, side sills and front bumper giving it more aggressive look. Moving ahead it is also blessed with roof bars capable of holding weight upto 50 Kg. Interiors have been developed with new trims and high quality fabrics.
It is expected that Etios Cross will receive tough competition from Cross Polo and Fabia Scout. It is speculated that it will Indian roads during the first quarter of next year after Indian Auto Expo.
