Toyota Selects Drivers for the Inaugural Season of the Etios Motor Racing Series
Toyota India closed their highly proclaimed racing festival, Toyota Etios Motor Racing (EMR) Series on the last weekend. Around 40 aspiring racers were knocking horns in the event but only 25 could make their way out to the victory crown. The selected 25 heroes will test their destiny in the coming event of Toyota racing series inauguration that is tentatively scheduled next year. Till then they will show their talents in the exhibition races that will be organized in the month of August to October.

Deputy Managing Director of Marketing of Toyota, Mr. Sandeep Singh reportedly told the media that the event was rushed by many talented drivers across India. It was a great thrill to see the passionate racers and the enthusiasm that they spread at the Etios Motor Racing (EMR) Series. Most of the competent belonged to a very young age that was between 15 to 24 years old. The entry to this racing series can give them a launch pad for the next big events of races in future both in India and other countries worldwide.

The racing series was divided into three camps as per the level of tasks that were to be performed, Camp 1, Camp 2 and Camp 3. The Camp 1 was dedicated to the functioning of the online registration and first round of auditions that was organized in four major cities namely Bangalore, Delhi, Pune and Kolkata. Around 70 candidates from the top cream were selected to enter the next level, which was Campus 2. In Campus 2, 40 drivers were keenly hunted to move to the next level named as Campus 3 where the final 25 were selected.

The racing competition series received more than 3200 online registrations out of which 900 went to the second level that shows a great competitive atmosphere in the event.
