Toyota to launch Etios Cross SUV in May 2014
After unveiling its compact SUV Toyota Etios Cross in the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2014, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Indian arm of Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors is going to launch the SUV in Indian car market sometimes during the month of May this year. For this it has even started the booking of this compact SUV on the down payment of Rs.50,000 and will prove to be a tough contender to EcoSport from Ford, Cross Polo Volkswagen and others.
Under the hood Etios Cross will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise, with petrol variant be offered with two engine options of 1.5 litre and 1.2 litre while the diesel variant with 1.4 litre D-4D diesel engine. The interiors of this compact SUV receives piano black color garnish, high quality sporty seat fabric, 2 DIN Audio supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in & Remote, followed by leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls integrated on it.
The exteriors of this compact SUV have been blessed with more aggressive looks than compared to its hatchback elder sibling Etios and is bestowed with grille guard, diamond cut alloys, aggressive rear cladding with Toyota’s badge integrated on it, side claddinhg,, fog lamps, outside rear view mirrors along with turn indicators etc.
