Toyota to launch stunning new Toyota Camry at Auto Expo

It is high time to prepare an itinerary to the Auto Expo 2012. Besides the glittering new car launches there are many stunning new versions of the existing cars lined up. One such is the all new Toyota Camry.

Besides, this car could be priced less than its predecessor as Toyota has plans to assemble it at its Bangalore plant. Besides new Camry, Toyota will also be presenting the face-lifted Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner and the new Toyota Prius hybrid sedan at the Auto Expo.

New Toyota Camry is a 2.5L 174 bhp sedan and it has all the essentials and is a contender of being the most sought after car. Above all it is the Toyota brand back up that pushes it further. However, a petrol only option could be a negative but it will of lesser effect as in this segment the car buyers look for comfort and safety rather than the fuel option. The new Camry is expected to be imported as completely knocked down unit and will be assembled at Toyota’s Bangalore plant. The new Camry will be mated to a new six speed manual and automatic transmissions giving it a new attraction among car buyers.

Apart from this, the new six speed transmission there are some of these great additions to the new Camry that will surely make it a great hit after its unveil at the Auto Expo 2012. The additions are viz. start stop button for the easy of starting and stopping the car, steering mounted controls that gives the driver full control of the audio and the speed of the car. There is also an upgraded infotainment system in the new Camry for those who love to have their favourite numbers playing on the go. For better visibility at night, there are projector headlamps and LED tail lights making the road journey safer as ever. In order to park it, the new Camry has front and reverse parking sensors so one can be sure that there are no scratches and dents while parking the car. However, absence of a diesel engine is still a minus for new Camry.
