Toyota to showcase generation next Etios in Indian Auto Expo 2016
As reported earlier that after witnessing an average presence in Indian car market for its highly anticipated sedan Toyota Etios, Japanese car maker is working on introducing the revamped version this sedan in Indian car market keeping the expectations of customers in concern. Now it is reported that taking a step ahead in this direction company is speculating to unveil the refreshed Etio in the Indian Auto Expo to be held in 2016. The existing version Etios is offered in both petrol and diesel variant with petrol version be equipped with 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre petrol engine options, while the diesel version is offered with 1.4 litre diesel engine.
The main reason which according to sources of company behind the failure of Etios has been its boxy looks. In the words of mr. Hisayki Inoue, CEO, Asia Pacific operation Toyota, the design of existing Etios has been one of the major issue associated with Etios and therefore refreshed Etios will be blessed with various new dynamic features which will enhance its looks. Sources reveal that the new Etios will carry most of its exterior designs from its sibling Corolla Altis which indicates that this time it will also get daytime running lamps.
Sources of company also revealed that the USP of Etios has been its fuel efficiency, space and functionality and keeping these things in concern the makers wish to explore these features in more better way in generation next Etios. For this company is also conducting various researches and studies to receive the feeback from customers before launching it in the market.
