Toyota University Cricket Championship Anthem - "Ab Hamari Baari Hai" released
Toyota cars and sports have a close connection. And the bond has been strengthened further with the Toyota University Cricket Championship (TUCC). Thus, the car maker is not just serious about sports by launching just the Toyota Etios TRD Sportivo edition its hatchback but it really expresses it on ground as well. The TUCC is a cricketing event and will commence on February 23. Today, the car maker has released the official anthem or the theme song ‘Ab Hamari Bari Hai.’ The song is written by lyricist Prasoon Joshi and the trio - Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has given it voice. The event aims at giving a chance to talents to prove themselves. It is believed that this event will also be a launch pad for talents to get a chance in showing their cricketing spirit in favor of India.
As per the official information, Pakistani cricket star Wasim Akram has been chosen to be the brand ambassador and there will be eight teams from top universities of India participating in the event. Toyota India believes that the anthem of the event will mix the sound music with cricket fervor and will also step it up further. Famous cricket stars including Harsha Bhogle were present at the release of the anthem. The event is also expected to highlight the sporting initiatives of Toyota as well as its commitment to make India as its own country.
Meanwhile, the Toyota Etios and Liva sales have helped the car maker step up its sales by 89% in January and this will further help the car maker in increasing its market share in the country. Notably, the car maker has been very active in sporting events in the country and the TRD Sportivo models of these two models have gained immense popularity among those who wish to have some real sporting fervor in their car.
