Toyota Unveils new Corolla in Gulf
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors has showcased its up-coming Corolla 2014 at on-going Dubai Motor Show and in this way Dubai became the first Gulf country to receive a car designed according to European standards. According to reports company will release car for sale in Dubai car market from March 2014. The new Toyota Corolla will be launched in petrol variant with two engine options of 1.6 litre petrol and 1.8 litre petrol , followed by six speed manual transmission or four speed automatic transmission feature. The major features that will be available in its base model will include high quality leather seats, touchscreen navigation, climate control and various others.
The European Corolla is designed on Furia concept and carries its conventional design as compared to Toyota Corolla launched in American market. It is reported that the same model of Toyota Corolla will be showcased during Indian Auto Expo to be held at New Delhi next year. According to reports the new Toyota Corolla has been developed with enhanced wheelbase and will offer more space as compared to its erstwhile models.
Toyota Corolla has been ruling car market in Middle East from last thirty years and has emerged as one of the most liked sources of transportation by taxi operators. Going through its successful journey of thirty years it is expected that new Corolla will carry that tradition ahead.
