Volkswagen Passat 2015 to be unveiled in July
It is reported that German car maker Volkswagen is going to unveil the generation next Passat saloon and estate during the month of July 2014, which means before the commencement of Paris Motor Show scheduled to be held in October this year. The premium sedan would be launched in UK during the month of December this year and will be dispatched for deliveries from the first month of next year. In Indian car market the all new Passat would be launched sometimes during the second quarter of 2015. The upcoming Passat will be equipped with various remarkable and awesome features.
The generation 8th Passat will be equipped with new powerful 2.0 litre four cylinder, bi-turbo diesel engine developing the maximum power of 240PS and torque of 500 Nm. The engine will be coated with seven speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all wheel drive system. It is reported that the new Passat will deliver an improved fuel efficient performance. Talking about the major changes introduced in new Passat the front fascia will sport new LED or halogen head lamps including Dynamic Light Assist system which will enable the LED headlamps to automatically adjust the beam for generating high illumination.
The other noticeable features mounted in new Passat includes active info display, 360 degree rear view function, new park assist system, new car remote application. Apart from this it also sports different safety measures which include side assist system with rear traffic alert, emergency assist, traffic jam assist, city emergency braking system blessed with amalgamating radar and camera sensors for pedestrian directions.
