Volvo All Set to Launch the S60 Polestar in India on April 14, 2017
Volvo, the luxury car manufacturer is all set to launch the S60 Polestar in the Indian car market by the April 14, 2017. Mr. Tom Von Bonsdorff, Managing Director of the Volvo Auto India was announced this entry-level performance car for the Indian car lovers with the S60 sedan earlier this year.
As its other siblings, the S60 Polestar will also arrive in India as CBU. The car might use a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit to produce the maximum power of 346 bhp and peak torque of 470 Nm. It is expected to be mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission system, which will supply the power output to its all 4-wheels. The Volvo S60 polestar will be efficient enough to run at the top speed of 250 km/h and will hit 100 km/h mark of its speedometer in just 4.5 seconds from its standstill position.
Talking about the looks, the S60 Polestar will have aesthetic design and dynamic looks. The xenon headlamps, front grille mounted “Volvo” badge, sporty alloy wheels and at the rear, LED tail lamps, dual exhaust pipe and many others giving it a complete sporty look.
Inside the cabin, the luxurious central console, multimedia display with navigation system, steering wheel mounted with the control switches and comfortable seats will offer a comfortable journey and better driving experience. Volvo India will launch this performance model with advanced safety features including the cruise control, improved braking system with pedestrian detection and many others.
The Volvo S60 Polestar will arrive in India to compete with the Mercedes AMG c43 4MATIC and other luxury cars of the segment.
