Volvo to launch facelift of Volvo XC90 in Indian Auto Expo 2014
After announcement of launching the facelift version of Volo S60 saloon and Volvo XC60 SUV during the ongoing festive season, the Swedish auto giant has announced that it will launch the facelift of its one more vehicle Volvo XC90 SUV in Indian auto market by beginning of next year. According to industry experts Volvo may launch the facelift of XC90 during Indian Auto Expo as it is the appropriate time for all auto companies to introduce their new models among masses.
At present there are two variants of Volvo XC 90 available in market. The petrol variant is empowered with 3.2 litre, six cylinder producing the power of 243 bhp and torque of 320 Nm. Whereas the diesel variant is enriched with 2.4 litre 5 cylinder turbo diesel engines developing the power of 163 bhp, on the other side AWD is energized with 2.4 litre turbocharged engine churning the power of 200 bhp and torque of 400 Nm. According to industry experts Volvo will continue same engine in facelift version. As far as the price of facelift version XC 90 is concerned it is not yet revealed by official sources of Volvo.
It is speculated that like Volvo 60 and Volvo XC60, Volvo XC90 will also receive new interiors and rejuvenated exteriors. It is also expected that engine may get fewer enhancement. It is also expected that the facelift will be equipped with high defined audio system followed by touchscreen display.
