50,000 Units of Kwid recalled by Renault
It is reported that to rectify the issue related with fuel hose system French car maker Renault has recalled 50,000 units of its best selling hatchback from Indian car market. The recall from car maker has come at the time when all major car makers are either introducing the upgraded or limited editions of their existing line-up or offering discount on their portfolio to lure buyers and exploit the benefits of festive season.
The 50,000 units of Kwid recalled by Renault are empowered with 0.8 litre engine configuration which were manufactured between October 2015 and May 18, 2016. According to sources of company this recall is just a preventive measure and will undergo inspection of vehicle. During the inspection fuel hose clip will be placed on the affected part followed by inspection of complete fuel system to detect any issue related with flow of fuel.

In the statement given by sources of company, "As a proactive measure, a fuel hose clip will be added to these select cars along with the evaluation of overall functionality of the fuel system to mitigate any potential disruption of fuel supply." Although the sources of company did not told about the exact number of units which are expected to be affected from the defect, it however said that out of 50,000 units recalled 10% of units might be having the problem with fuel hose.
Since its launch Renault Kwid emerged as one of the fruitful tree for French car maker facilitating company to harvest huge profits from hatchback which succeed in impressing car enthusiasts throughout the country from its performance as compared to its contenders.
