The new BMW 3 Series will bring a twist to the Indian automotive market with its high-class portfolio, which is to be launched in India by the end of this year. The Audi A4, Volvo S60 and Mercedes Benz C-class are the main rivals of the new BMW 3 series.

It shades off extra flab of 45 kgs with new 50mm longer wheelbase and wider front & rear tracks, as compared to its older version. The upcoming new BMW 3 series appeals with the decent front & sides styling along with its high rear seat arrangement, identical to the 5 series.
It will be available in three trim levels for the Indian buyers: Modern, Luxury and Sport. The high-tech sophistication brings the immense pleasure of the comfort and lavishness. It is expected that the new BMW 3 series will offer the enhanced fuel efficiency and power.

BMW 3 Series will come equipped with the 2.0 litre common-rail engine churning out a maximum power of 184PS at 4000rpm and torque of 380NM at 1750 & 2750rpm. There will be new eight speed automatic transmission instead to the old six speed gearbox. The four standard driving modes (eco pro, comfort, sport and sport plus) are to be lined up.
