All new Audi Q3 SUV set to rival BMW X1 in India

The Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi is gearing-up to launch its Audi Q3 compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) in the Indian market very soon. The all new Audi Q3 will be fighting for space with Audi’s arch rival BMW’s X1 model in the Indian market. The other competitors of the SUV in the country include Toyota FortunerNissan XtrailFord EndeavourChevrolet Captiva, and Honda CR-V.

The unconfirmed media reports claim that the car will be launched in the Indian market by second quarter of next year. The Audi Q3 model was recently spied testing on Mumbai roads that indicates towards its early launch in the country. The car will be displayed at the upcoming Auto expo in National Capital.

Expected to be priced in the range of Rs 22 to 25 lakh, the all new Audi Q3 will be offered in three different engine options. These engines include one TDI and two TFSI power-trains. The base model would be powered by 2.0 TDI engine, delivering a peak power of 103 kW and carrying front wheel drive. The top end version of the vehicle is expected to deliver a maximum output of up to 155 kW.

Moreover, the SUV is expected to be carrying a range of new age comfort, convenience and safety boosting features including the likes of four-link rear suspension handles, multiple airbags for both driver and passengers, electromechanical power steering, and electromechanical parking brake.
