New Audi Q5 facelift launched at Rs 43.16 lakhs

Audi India has rolled out the latest version of its flagship SUV, Audi Q5 at a starting price of Rs 43.16 lakhs (ex-showroom price). The SUV made its global debut at the Paris Motor Show, where it was shown for the first time. German luxury car maker is giving a tough fight to its native counterpart BMW in India and with the launches of new car and facelifts it is slowly inching ahead towards the numero uno position in India.

The new additions in the SUV comprise of a new tail rear diffuser, new fog lamps, a hexagonal grill, most of the makeover has been done on the exteriors of the SUV. Moderate tweaks have been given to the interiors of the new Audi Q5 SUV. A powerful 3 litre V6 engine that churns outs a maximum power of 272 Hp is packed under the hood. The hybrid edition on the other hand will have a 2 litre 4, cylinder engine that generates 245 Hp of high power, however it will be combined with a 1.3 Kilowatt Hour ILithium Ion battery for supplementary power infusion.

Insignificant changes have been made to the interiors which include a new steering wheel, new trimmings around the cabin space and a reworked multi-media interface. Few internet based systems are also present in the multi-media system. The new version has a lot of similarity with the outgoing variant, however the only significant change that has been made to the SUV is the inclusion of a range of new engines.
