Audi Q5 to Olympic medalists, Maruti SX4 to participants by Haryana Government

Winning a medal at Olympics can help you drive home Audi Q5. Adding another accolade to the Olympic medalists, the Haryana Government has presented Audi Q5 SUV to the five Olympic medalists. All these four medalist belong to Haryana. These include Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and Sushil Kumar, Saina Nehwal and Shooter Gagan Narang. The Q 5 SUV was presented to each of these in joint association with DLF and the Haryana Government. Notably, the Q5 SUV is the mid range SUV and is just smaller in size than the Audi Q7 SUV. It is more spacious and powerful than the recently launched Audi Q3.

The SUV has been presented to these four medalists as an appreciation of their efforts. Meanwhile, those participants who belonged to Haryana and participated in the 2012 London Olympics but were unable to fetch any medal were also presented with Maruti SX4 as mark of appreciation for their efforts for the state and country. The winners were also presented gift cheques ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 1.5 crore. Recently, Saina Nehwal has also received a BMW at a function. Sachin Tendulkar who is the brand Ambassador of the German car maker presented the BMW car to Nehwal.

It seems that the choice of the Audi Q5 has been intentionally made as it suits the sports persons as well. The Audi Q5 will truly reflect the sporty spirit of the sportspersons. Meanwhile the luxury sedan BMW will best suit Saina. The Audi Q5 choice has also been chosen specifically as the car is among the best luxury SUVs in India and is of a decent size and power. The SUV is much more powerful than the Audi Q3 launched recently. The Audi Q5 price in India is Rs 39.80 lakh and goes upto Rs 45.98 lakh.
