Audi makes its strong presence at Frankfurt Motor Show
Unlike other motor shows, Frankfurt Motor Show is witnessing huge success with various renowned auto manufacturers unveiling their highly acclaimed cars during the show. German auto giant Audi has unveiled four of its new models during the show and has succeeded in grabbing attention of everyone coming in to the show. Among these four models two models are concept models and the other two are production models. The concept models included Sport Quattro concept car and Nanuk Quattro concept car, whereas the production models which grabbed attention of each audience are A3 Cabriolet and A3 E-tron plug in hybrid in hatchback segment.
Starting with Nanuk Quattro concept car, Audi has designed this car in alliance with Italian firm known Italdesign Giugiaro. The Nanuk is energized with 5.0 litre twin turbhocharged V-10 diesel engine that is covered with seven speed dual clutch transmission. The car churns the power 550 bhp and develops the torque of 1000 Nm. The Sport Quattro concept car is empowered with 4.0 litre twin turbo charged V8 engine churning the power of 700 bhp and torque of 800 Nm. The car is mated with eight speed automatic transmission that forwards the power to rear wheels.
Moving towards A3 Cabriolet production model, it has been reported that it is powered by 1.8 litre 4 cylinder engine that develops the power of 180 bhp. The engine of the car has been covered with seven speed dual clutch transmission system. On the other side another production concept car A3 E-tron hybrid car is empowered with 1.4 litre four cylinder engine, developing the power of 204 bhp and torque of 340 Nm.
