Audi A3 landing tomorrow in Indian car market
German car maker Audi is going to launch its luxurious sedan A3 tomorrow in Indian car market. It is expected to be launched with starting price of Rs. 25 lakh. Prior to this the car maker had showcased the car during Indian Auto Expo 2014 and succeeds in grabbing the attention of all segments in Indian car market. The car maker has also showcased the cabriolet version of Audi A3 during the Indian Auto Expo, however it is speculated to be launched in India by this year end. After launch it is expected that A3 will take over its strong contenders like BMW 1 Series and Mercedes Benz A Class.
Audi A3 would be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version will be empowered with 1.8 litre TFSI petrol engine boosting the power of 180bhp and torque of 250Nm, and coated with seven speed S-Tronic transmission system. The petrol is claimed to accelerate the speed from standstill to 100 kmph within the span of 7.3 seconds. The diesel avatar of A3 is reported to be energized with 2.0 litreTDI diesel engine which will churn the power of 143 bhp and torque of 320Nm. Alike petrol version it will also be mated with S-Tronic transmission system and will mark the speed of 100 kmph from zero mark in 8.3 seconds.
The sedan in Indian car market would be brought through Complete Knocked Down route and is blessed with various awesome and attractive features for I instance bi-xenon headlamps with day time running LEDs, seven inch infotainment system, dual zone climate control, rear view camera, S line body kits, panoramic sunroof and various others.
