Audi A3 sedan launched with starting price of Rs 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)
German luxurious car maker Audi has launched its new sedan A3 in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The A3 has been launched in both petrol and diesel variants followed by four trims in diesel variant and one trim in petrol version. The petrol version of A3 sedan is empowered with 1.8 litre TFSI turbocharged engine and has been carried from its another sibling A4. The engine is coated with seven speed DSG gearbox. The diesel version is energized with 2.0 litre TDI engine boosting the power of 140bhp and torque of 320Nm. It is mated with six speed manual gearbox.

The new A3 is the perfect match of contemporary features and design which is mainly targeted to grab the attention of youth car enthusiasts. The major features adorned in sedan are bi-xenon headlamps, arrow head DRLs, and Audi’s conventional trapezoidal grille. Inside the cabin it receives some common features including similar steering wheel, instrument cluster etc. It however boosts an interesting feature which is touchpad MMI screen paired with rotary knob on the central console facilitating you to write on it and it recognizes the characters.
With introduction of Audi A3 the car maker has broadened its designing parameters and A3 is the first step towards it. In Indian car market it will be brought through CKD route and will be assembled at company’s production unit in Maharashtra. The four trims offered in new Audi A3 are named as Attraction, Premium, Premium Plus,and Technology. The name of only trim offered in petrol is Premium Plus.
