Audi A3 to be offered with starting price of Rs. 26 lakh (ex-showroom price)
German luxurious car maker Audi Motors is all set to launch its sedan A3 in Indian car market during the month of August with starting price of Rs. 26 lakh (ex-showroom price). Audi A3 will be assembled locally and is claimed to be most affordable sedan by the car maker. The upcoming sedan would be offered in both petrol and diesel variants with petrol variant equipped with 1.8 litre TFSI petrol engine developing the power of 180 bhp and torque of 250Nm, while the diesel variant will be energized with 2.0 litre diesel engine churning the power of 180 bhp and torque of 320 Nm.
With an objective to keep price of Audi A3 compatible to market scenario it will not carry company’s conventional features like leather finishing inside the cabin and LED headlamps. However the top end variant will embellish leather interiors and various other comfort and luxurious feature to exhibit luxuriousness of Audi.
The interesting feature which has been mounted in Audi A3 will sport 6 speed manual transmission system along with S-Tronic dual clutch automatic transmission system. After launch Audi A3 will compete against Mercedes CLS, Mercedes Benz A and B Class, and also BMW 1 series.
