BMW 3 Series F30 to break covers tomorrow
Despite the ongoing slowdown in the domestic market, the luxury segment continues to thrive. The German triads, BMW, Audi and Mercedes have successfully carved a niche for themselves in the luxury segment of the Indian car market and are now vying to conquer the number one position. In wake of maintaining its winning streak in India, BMW is all set to bring a much improved version of its BMW 3 Series luxury saloon. The launch will happen tomorrow at a gala event in New Delhi where the new BMW 3 Series F30 will be unveiled and will also go on sale. The company has gone Renault India way to promote new BMW 3 Series through ULTIMAT3 on social networking sites like Facebook and twitter. Few interesting campaigns have also been inducted on ULTIMAT3 by BMW to get attention of the customers. There has been no hint about the price of the saloon yet and prices will be announced tomorrow only during the launch. However, expected BMW price in India can range between Rs 28 lakh to Rs 37 lakh.

BMW 3 Series has been a significant model for BMW in India as well as in other global markets. The new version of the luxury saloon will be equipped with cutting edge technology, unmatchable style and will delivers excellent driving pleasure. The rear of the saloon will be broader with roomier boot lid, while the tail lamps will have close resemblance with that of BMW 5 Series. Apart from this the new grille with chrome edges are stretched up to the angular head lights. The new version is longer and wider than its forerunner and is 40 kg lighter too.

The interiors of the new sedan have also been spruced up which remind of BMW 5-Series and BMW 7 Series. The “Drive performance Control” switch enables to switch the vehicle from Comfort to Sport mode in a snap. Loner wheelbase of the sedan gives ample space to the rear passengers to sit comfortably. New BMW 3 Series saloon will be offered with two engine options that include the 1995cc, 181 bhp engine powering 320d diesel variant. While the 328i petrol trim will get a new engine that can pump out a whopping 241 bhp of maximum power. The company claims that fuel efficiency of the saloon will be increased by 20 per cent under ideal conditions. However, the sedan when tested returned fuel economy numbers which are more than its arch rivals, Audi A4 and Mercedes Benz C Class.

BMW is among the best luxury carmakers of the world. Though, BMW 3 Series is among the cheapest series of this brand, it falls nowhere less than the most luxurious cars.
