BMW 3 Series LWB at the Beijing Motor Show
The on-going Beijing Motor Show witnessed umpteen new cars and concepts soon going to be a part of the global auto industry. The German luxury car maker, who is also a part of the Show, recently exhibited the BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase sedan in Beijing. Auto industry was abuzz with the rumours of next gen (F30) 3 Series to be India bound, but now with the induction of the new Li variant, let us wait and watch if BMW still plans to launch this model in the domestic market or not.
The engine option could be chosen from the regular 3 Series models- BMW 320i (184bhp), BMW 328i (245bhp) and BMW 335i (306bhp).

The new model of the 3 Series will be launched in China only as of now and will gun straight against Audi A4L. The wheelbase of the Li variant is 110mm (4.3 inches) which is longer than the wheelbase of the regular 3’er. The new variant is longer and has a total length of 4,734mm (186.4 inches).

As far as the Indian customers are concerned, they immensely appreciate the long wheelbase sedans. Cars like Indigo XL or the Skoda Superb saloon, that features huge rear leg room have been popular amongst the customers. The German company has 4 car models in the 3 Series namely BMW 3 Series 320i, BMW 3 Series 330i Sport, BMW 3 Series 320d and BMW 3 Series 320d Exclusive.
