Chevrolet Spark EV unveiled
Chevrolet Spark Electric Vehicle will be the new invent from the American car maker and this has the genes to outshines even the best of the electric cars. The Spark EV (known as Chevrolet Beat in India) will be entering the US market soon. And the most striking thing about the electric version of the Spark is that it will be able to attain a speed of 100 kmph from stationary in just 8 seconds. And that is called a performance driven electric car. Also, the users will be able to charge the batteries of the car to almost full in just 20 minutes. Thus the car will be ready for another sprint in the meantime when you have your tea.

As per the latest report, the Spark EV has been unveiled in US ahead of the Los Angeles Motor Show that is scheduled to begin on November 30. The early unveil is expected to create a room for the car to get popularized before the actual launch happens at the show and this will also give some time to Chevrolet to promote this car. Meanwhile, it is said that the new car will be an instant hit as soon as it is launched and in all cases it will be a boon to the US.

The car is powered by a 134 bhp electric motor and the motor is high performance driven. The car will have 542 Nm of torque that means that it will be able to match to some of the best powered cars in the segment. This is the presence of the high torque that enables the car to have a sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 8 seconds. In addition to this, Chevrolet will be providing 8 years warranty on it and this will be like a one time investment for the car buyers and the returns will be in the form of highly low per kilometer running cost. It is said that the car has been designed to have high acceleration so that it can have its own USP. Notably, electric cars are considered as having a feeble pick up and acceleration but this EV will change the perception completely. If it comes to India, it will give a tough competition to the upcoming Mahindra E20.

The new version of the Spark hatchback is mindblowing. A very good facelift has been done by GM. It seems that after receiving electric version the demand for this vehicle will become more than other small cars in India.
