Datsun to Recall More Than 900 units of Redi-Go
It is reported that Datsun, the subsidiary of Nissan Motors is going to recall more than 900 units of its hatchback Redi-Go from Indian car market. According to industry reports this recall has been made to rectify the issue associated with the fuel pipe hose. The units recalled are reported to be manufactured during the period till May 18, 2016 and the dealers across the India will get the issue rectified free of cost.

It would be interested that just a day before French car Renault had recalled 50,000 units of Kwid from Indian car market suffering from the same issue. As both Datsun Redi-Go and Renault Kwid share the same platform the problem of catering the issue will also be the same. According to sources of company the dealers of Datsun throughout India will contact the owners of these vehicles. It is interested to know that from its family Go and Go+, Redi-Go has succeed in wining over the hearts of Indian car enthusiasts who are planning to buy their first car ever.

Empowered with 0.8 litre petrol engine boosting the power of 54 bhp and torque of 72Nm, Datsun Redi-Go has emerged as the tough competitor of Alto 800 by country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The transmission system offered in Redi-Go is mated with five speed manual gearbox. Interestingly encouraged from the over whelming response of buyers towards Redi-Go, recently the Sport Limited Edition of Redi-Go has been launched by Japanese car maker. The Sport Edition of Redi-Go is equipped with plethora of remarkable features on both exteriors and interiors. The limited Sport Edition is reported to be sold only in limited number and that also during the festive season.
