Diesel version Honda CR-V expected by 2015
Nobody can understand the significance of diesel engine better than Japanese auto giant Honda Motors which jumped from 8th position to 4th within an year after launching Amaze sedan in diesel last year and then new Honda City in diesel version earlier this year. And now to increase and strengthen its position more strongly in Indian car market it is reported that company is going to bring not only new vehicles in Indian car market but also going to explore its dealership network across the country.

Talking about the new vehicles that will be launched by company in coming next months include recently unveiled Mobilio MPV and Honda Jazz, both of them will be offered in both petrol and diesel versions. The Mobilio will be launched in the second quarter of 2014-15 where Jazz by the last quarter of financial year. Apart from this it is also reported that company is speculating to introduce diesel variant of its SUV Honda CR-V also sometimes during 2015. The diesel variant of Honda CR-V will be energized with 1.6 litre diesel engine churning the power of 118 bhp and torque of 300 Nm and might be offered with price tag of Rs. 25 lakh or close to it.
Moving ahead Honda Motors is also speculating to explore its dealership network to 230 across 150 cities by the end of next year. With this as company has also started a production operation at its recently established production plant at Rajasthan which is expected to produce 20,000 vehicles every month.
