If you plan to buy Grand Vitara compact SUV by Indo-Japanese car Maruti Suzuki India Limited then it’s the best time to bring it home. According to recent reports, this June country’s leading car manufacturer is offering significant discounts on the Grand Vitara SUV. Discount on the compact SUV varies from ₹14,000 to ₹1.04 lakh, depending on the variant. These offers are available only until June 30 and may vary by city.
Discount Breakdown by Variant
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is offered with three powertrain options - a mild-hybrid engine, a strong hybrid engine, and a CNG powertrain. The CNG variants are available with discounts of up to ₹14,000. The SUV is available in four variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The Sigma variant is offered with a discount of Rs 34,000 discount, while the other variants receive discounts of up to ₹64,000. Along with this, the company is offering a 5-year warranty on the vehicle and an 8-year warranty on the hybrid battery.
Pricing and Competitors
The Grand Vitara is priced between ₹10.99 lakh and ₹19.93 lakh ex-showroom and competes with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Citroen C3 Aircross, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. The Indo-Japanese carmaker shares its platform with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Engine Specifications
The strong hybrid engine of the Grand Vitara delivers 91 bhp of maximum power and 122 Nm of torque and comes equipped with electric motors powered by a battery pack and paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission. The naturally aspirated engine, produces 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque and is available with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The CNG powertrain, however, does not offer an automatic transmission.
