It is grapevine that Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) is soon going to launch the facelift version of its popular hatchback back Grand i10 in Indian car market. This can be witnessed from the images of its facelift unit being tested on roads posted on various portals. Although rumors regarding launch of facelift i10 had been in air from quite long time, but it is for first time that spies have not only caught the prototype being tested on Chennai roads but also rendered its pictures in cyber world.

From the rumors emerging in cyber world the facelift Grand i10 will continue with existing engine configuration of 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine boosting the power of 82 bhp and torque of 116Nm, followed by 1.1 litre three cylinder diesel engine that churns the power of 73 bhp and torque of 163Nm. The only thing which could thrill the enthusiasts of i10 is rumor of its AMT variant which although is liking hitting am arrow in dark, as curtain regarding it will be taken off only at the time of its launch.

Talking about the looks of facelift Hyundai Grand i10, as the unit of vehicle spied was completely camouflaged but still it succeeded in giving an idea about the parts that will undergo cosmetic changes. Because despite of covering whole body only few parts of were covered by company. According to spies the facelift unit looks identical to existing version, however it is speculated that changes will be offered in form of revised bumpers on both front and rear portions.

Launched almost three years back in 2013, the hatchback has played significant role in pushing up the sales of Korean car maker in Indian car market and still despite of various options available in market still there is huge demand for it among the buyers.
