Facelift Mahindra XUV 500 launched, priced Rs. 11.21 lakh(ex-showroom price New Delhi)
Domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has launched the refreshed version of its SUV, XUV 500 today in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 11.21 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The new XUV 500 undergoes contemporary cosmetic changes and also embellish some new features enhancing the relevance of buying this SUV to great extent.

Under the hood upgraded XUV 500 continues the same 2.2 lite four cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that power the existing version boosting the power of 140 bhp and is offered with six speed manual gear transmission system. The worth mentioning technical feature introduced in XUV 500 is integration of new brake energy regeneration system and enhanced suspension system along with improved fuel efficiency from existing 15.1 kmp to 16 kmpl. On the exterior front it receives new chrome grille followed by new headlamps adorning S shaped LED DRLs which are same as offered in Scorpio. The front bumper continues to be same except the chrome garnish on fog lamps. The side and rear profile are decorated with new alloy wheels and chrome registration plate respectively.
Inside the cabin it receive newly introduced voice messaging system, logo projection lamps, electronic sunroof, six-way adjustable driver seat, passive keyless entry and button start, rear parking camera and seven inch infotainment system. It would be interested to know that it is the first major cosmetic change introduced in this SUV since its launch in 2011. The new XUV 500 will compete against Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster.
