Facelift Mahindra XUV500 To Step Out On April 18, 2018
According to recent reports domestic car make Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to launch the facelift version of its best selling SUV XUV500 in the Indian car market on April 18, 2018. It is reported that in its new avatar the facelift XUV500 will undergo vast cosmetic surgery on both the exterior and interior front along with integration of various new features also. Some dealers are reported to even receive the units of facelift SUV so as to start the delivery to the buyers as soon as the XUV500 facelift steps in the market. After launch the facelift Mahindra XUV500 will compete against Tata Hexa, Renault Captur and Jeep Compass. As far as its price is concerned nothing has been so far revealed by the company sources, but it is believed to offered with little higher price tag than compared to its existing version.

Mechanically the facelift XUV500 is reported to be offered with the existing engine configuration of 2.2 litre mHawk petrol and diesel engine configurations. The petrol engine is expected to generate the power of 140 bhp and the torque of 320Nm, while the diesel engine is reported to deliver more power and torque as compared to its outgoing version. The transmission duties in both the variants would be performed by both manual and automatic transmission system.
Inside the cabin it will receive an updated cabin in form of new dashboard equipped with new touchscreen infotainment system, new centre console, new upholstery, reverse parking camera with sensors, automatic climate control, rear air conditioner vents, new safety features and few more. On the exterior front it will embellish new radiator grille, new large projector headlamps, LED DRLs. The front bumper will not adorn tear drop shaped foglamps, set of new alloy wheels, wraparound taillamps, etc. The rear portion will be embellished with new tailgate, new chrome slats and large space of number plate. Along with the rear portion also adorns new rear bumper, newly developed roof mounted spoiler and brake light.
