Facelift Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Launch Confirmed For The Next Month
Maruti Suzuki India Limited, country’s leading car maker has finally revealed the undisguised picture of facelift Ciaz sedan in the cyber world, thus confirming its launch sometime during the next month. The facelift Ciaz is reported to undergo a bunch of cosmetic updates on both the exterior and interior fronts. It would be for the first time since its launch four year back, that Ciaz will receive any type of cosmetic updates.

It would be interesting to know that along with cosmetic updates, the facelift Ciaz will also receive mechanical updates. The existing 1.4 litre petrol engine will be replaced by new 1.5 litre K-Series petrol engine that will generate the power of 103 bhp and torque of 130 Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by five-speed manual gear transmission system along with an option of four-speed automatic transmission system, offered in the top end variants. The diesel variant will be mated with existing 1.3 litre DDiS engine.
On the exterior front 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift will receive angular front fascia against the existing chrome garnished style being offered in the existing version. The combination of broad front grille with glossy black garnish further gives the new Ciaz a sportier look, along with chrome lines at top and the beneath of front grille. The new grille also receives set of new headlamps alongwith LED DRLs. The front bumper receives chrome surroundings across the fog lamps at both front and rear portions. The rear profile do not get much changes except LED taillights.

Inside, the cabin it will receive a faux wood dashboard with updated instrument cluster. The touchscreen infotainment system has been upgraded with the features like Apple Car Play and Android auto connectivity options. After, going through the images revealed in the cyber world by MSIL, it is believed that the facelift Ciaz will receive the same outlook as offered in its Chinese version Suzuki Alivio.
