Facelift Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Rumored To Launch On August 6, 2018
The launch of facelift Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has been in rumours from a long time and its refreshed version has been spotted undergoing test drive on various occasions. In-fact recently the spies caught the uncamouflaged facelift Ciaz parked in the production unit of Indo-Japanese car maker in Haryana, but the date regarding its launch was still a big suspense for the aspirants of Ciaz. Interestingly, now according to the authentic sources, it is reported that the country’s leading car maker is going to launch the facelift version of its premium sedan Ciaz in the Indian car market on August 6, 2018. It is also rumoured that the company might start the booking of same by the end of this month and will start delivery to the customers through its Nexa dealers from August 10, 2018.
An interesting fact about the facelift Ciaz is that along with cosmetic updates it will also undergo mechanical updates in from new 1.5 litre petrol engine that will be same as offered in Suzuki Ertiga 2-18 that was launched during the Indonesia International Motor Show concluded this year during the month of April. The new engine will develop the power of 103 bhp and the torque of 138Nm. On the other side the diesel engine is reported to be offered with 1,248cc engine.
Talking about the cosmetic updates it will receive thin and the slightly updated grille with the chrome plate at the top. Apart from this it will be offered with new aggressive headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lamps, chrome bezel, curved bonnet. The side profile will get sixteen inch alloy wheels. At the rear portion it will be equipped with LED tail lights, refreshed rear bumper and few more. As far as changes inside the cabin are concerned, nothing has been so far revealed by the car maker.
